These barber cords are an essential piece of kit for the avid knitter. Made from silicon they are available in some amazing colours.
 
Used by firmly pressing the cord on to your needle tip and sliding your knitting on or off the cord. 
When your stitches are in place gently remove the cord by pushing it off with your finger or nail. Do not pull the cord off.
 
tip - remember to check that the joint is secure at all times.
