All threads are hand dyed so there is always a subtle variation along the length of thread, which adds depth and interest to your stitch work.
 
100% pure spun silk thread in a fine weight which is a perfect for hand quilting, hand embroidery or cross stitch. Although it is not a split-able thread it can be doubled or tripled up to great effect for a more dramatic line. it is a strong and smooth silk thread with significantly less knotting and 'fluffing' than silk floss or filament.
