Introduction to Darning Date: 1st March Time: from 1pm - 3:30pm Cost: £30 Location: Stitches and Cream Total spaces: 6 What's included: All materials provided. Learn to darn your knitwear. Have your woollens been attacked by moths? Or has your favourite jumper been worn out? Come along to learn how to confidently repair your own garments. If you want to try visible colourful mends or make your repairs as invisible as possible I'll be guiding you through each step to help you achieve the repairs. Who is it for? Perfect for complete beginners! Feel free to bring a woollen garment that needs mending if you have one, but this is not essential. Your tutor: Laura runs a clothing repair company that specialises in knitwear repairs. Her love of repair has led her to set up a monthly drop in session to encourage more people to give clothing repair a go. She enjoys seeing the satisfaction that mending can bring - you may have something that has been put to the back of the wardrobe for repair one day - but let's turn that one day into today! You will thank yourself every time you wear that garment.
